Meet The Team

Owner

Neil Gunning

Neil is from Kilkenny and is the owner of Nu Gamma Fitness. Since starting in the industry in 2017, Neil has 10,000+ Coaching Hours under his belt. He is passionate about helping all levels of individuals, whether with those starting their journeys or advanced athletes. Neil has extensive strength training experience and is a keen runner, with long distance trail running his speciality. He is a Rowing coach also and can help those who are training for on water or indoor rowing competition. His qualifications include Level 4 Personal Training, Precision Nutrition L1 & L2 Master Nutrition Coaching, NTC Pre & Post Natal Coaching, Concept 2 Rowing Coach and Rowing Ireland L1 Coach.
Personal Trainer

Alan Malone

Alan is a Level 4 Certified Personal Trainer and Level 1 Precision Nutrition Coach with four years of experience helping people break free from fad diets and unsustainable fitness routines. His approach is simple: no quick fixes, just realistic nutrition and training strategies that fit your life. Whether you want to lose weight, build strength, or feel better in your body, He will help you create lasting habits that actually work. Alan is passionate about football also and has a love of running also.
Personal Trainer

Aaron Varley

Aaron is a S&C Coach at NGF. Aaron has a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science, ASCA Strength and Conditioning certification, and a QQI Level 5 in Sport, Physiology & Massage. His passion lies in strength training and biomechanics - He is always looking for new and effective ways to help people move better, lift smarter, and reach their full potential.
He believes that the gym should be a welcoming and supportive space for everyone, no matter their experience level. My goal is to help each person build confidence, improve their technique, and achieve their fitness goals in the most efficient and sustainable way possible.

Outside the gym, he enjoys working out, spending time outdoors, traveling, and adding to his tattoo collection. He believes fitness is a lifelong journey, and is here to guide and support you every step of the way!

Personal Trainer

Aimee Moloney

Aimee has 12 years of experience in the fitness industry. She has learned a deep understanding of health and wellness, helping others achieve their fitness goals. Her expertise cover various aspects of fitness, from training and nutrition to fostering long-term lifestyle changes. Outside of work, she is passionate about Camogie, a sport that fuels your love for teamwork and competition. On weekends, She enjoys hiking and discovering new walking trails, combining her appreciation for nature with friends. Her active lifestyle reflects a strong commitment to both personal well-being and the joy of exploring the outdoors. Aimees Qualifications include - Diploma in Personal Training, Gym Instruction, and Nutrition Advice & Itec Qualification in Holistic Massage and Sports Massage
Coach & Yoga Instructor

Alison Delahunty

Alison is a 200-hour trained Hatha Yoga teacher who has experienced the benefits of yoga for over 10 years. She is passionate about making Yoga accessible and aims to provide an inclusive and welcoming space for everyone. Alison's classes blend traditional Yoga principles with modern, science-backed techniques, offering a holistic practice of movement, meditation, mantra and breathwork.
